The Superior King Room offers a spacious layout and plush bedding, making it a haven for relaxation. The whisky snug area exudes character with its rustic charm, ideal for a cozy evening with a glass in hand.
On our anniversary night, the unexpected presence of toddlers in the whisky snug was a bit jarring, disrupting the ambiance with their screeching. After trying to find peace amid the chaos, we retreated to our room, which while comfortable, felt like a missed opportunity for a more tranquil setting. While the inn caters to families, it may benefit from allocating certain spaces exclusively for adult guests to enhance the overall experience.

Fish and chips, which were the best I've ever had. The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure we felt at home. the room was smaller than expected, and the presentation of some dishes overshadowed the portion sizes.

A hidden gem for great feel
We LOVED our stay! The best part was the excellent hospitality we received. Those folks treat you like family! Plus, I must say, the food was delicious! The dinner was like a banquet… I never thought fish and chips could taste that good! I could still hear it sizzling. It was almost magical.
Sure, it wasn't inexpensive. but for what you get, it’s honestly acceptable.
